Cutters and Cutting Standards
We outsource our cutting to the most reliable cutting experts available. These professionals study each stone closely and then come up with a cutting or a faceting plan for the stone.
All of our cutters working with stones, gems and jewels were individually head hunted by us because we wanted only the best of experts to become a part of our supply chain.
This group of experts is, in part, the reason why our gems are so special. All of them are qualified, and the majority of them are advanced level or master level cutters who have been awarded and recognised many times within their respective fields. Some are members of the prestigious UK Facet Cutter’s Guild with decades of faceting experience. Most of our stones are faceted in UK, Europe or America.
The reason why we can bring to you only the finest of jewels is because our cutters conform to the highest quality standards and aspire to bring you the most superb pieces that have the right cut, clarity and brilliance.
Unlike other gem suppliers, we refuse to cut a gem for its size or carat weight. Instead, our cutters and experts assess each gem individually before formulating a relevant cutting design for them. The fantasy cut faceting designs you witness in many of our pieces is a result of this painstaking evaluation by our seasoned experts.
Every gem is photographed individually in our studio by a professional photographer. The gemstone you order after reviewing these portfolios is the gem we would send to you.
We believe in giving our customers access to all the relevant information so they can make an informed decision, and you’re welcome to speak with our customer services team ready should you have any queries regarding our gems.
A reputable laboratory has accredited all of our stones in the ‘jewel‘ category. The accreditation certificate is available to those who wish to review it. You can ask for additional certification on products listed in our ‘gems‘ and ‘stones‘ categories for an extra charge.
We offer a 30 day, 100% money back guarantee if the gem is not to your liking and returned undamaged.
